DISMANTLED – CCCP SPECIAL NIGHT

Punk – Post-Punk – New Wave – Indie … In occasion of CCCP Italian punk rock band return on stage we are glad to present a very special night at the Dunckerclub. A still divided Berlin is the place the band members met in 1982. Lead to their fate by a coincidence, the story of this band has had an impact on many generations in Italy, as well as in Germany and abroad. They will be back next February at the Astra Kulturhaus with a concert titled CCCP in DDDR (Deutsche Demokratische DISMANTLED Republik) and we have decided to create an event that celebrates CCCP music, philosophy, and life, as well as the musical context surrounding them in Germany and abroad. The event at the Dunckerclub will take place before the first concert at the Astra Kulturhaus, on the 23rd of February 2024. This way we also hope to create a meeting point for all those who will be travelling to Berlin for the occasion, and those who had no luck in getting fast enough to the ticket´s line. At the same time we will prepare spiritually as a collective for the big event. The team pursuing this task is composed of Italians and Germans. Italian DJ Blackdeath 1334 based in London (Slimelight), and DJ Ørlög very well known in Berlin (Dunckerclub) will be in charge of the music. With focus on Berlin urban space we will be showing a projection of Photos by Anna Motterle.
